Vice - President-Blair Wlochowski-09-11
I am Blair Wlochowski pronounced (wool-chow-ski). This is my first term as a CCCP Board member. I live in Bloomfield, CT and work for The Mountain Workshop as their Program Director. I have worked in the field of Experiential Education for over twenty years. Through my work and play (most of the time one in the same) I have been fortunate to travel all around the United States, Canada and to Central America. Over the years I have been a climbing instructor for The Wilderness School, Challenge Course Facilitator for over 15 different courses, Adventure Specialist for Severely Disturbed Adolescents and much more. I have a passion for adventure from sea kayaking to ice climbing and pretty much everything in between. My real passion is experiencing adventure with my own children. Watching them experience the things I love is like experiencing it for the first time. I look forward to the rest of my term on The CCCP Board and serving the membership to the best of my ability.
Treasurer- Justin McGlamery- 10-12

Hi! I'm Justin McGlamery. I teach at Saint Joseph College using experiential/adventure education as a pedagogical approach with many different populations and for many different reasons. For the past 15 years, I've worked with students with special needs at The Gengras Center of Saint Joseph College. Since 2001, I have been facilitating therapeutic adventure-education sessions for students and providing team-building workshops and in-services for staff. For the past five years, I've co-taught several courses at the college using experiential and adventure education. In addition to undergraduate curriculum courses, I facilitate team-building programs for many of the various departments and groups on campus, as well as for corporate groups, school and community groups, and athletic teams from the larger outside community.
I've presented at many regional, national, and international conferences, promoting the use of experiential activities to engage learners and enhance teaching.
In addition to my passion for teaching and learning with people, I'm a musician, poet, actor, and activist. Last fall I became a Trained Remo HealthRhythms Facilitator, learning how to deliver an evidence based protocol for wellness drumming.
I have also recently co-authored my first book, Focus Your Locus: Activities That Focus the Power of Individuals and Groups, published by Wood'n'Barnes Publishing. I love when we can keep layering what we love and know is good for everyone into what we do! The lines between work and life become blurry and we can just live, doing what we are supposed to. I live in an old fixer-upper home in a historic neighborhood in Hartford, Connecticut with my loving wife and best friend, Jarrad, and my three wonderful and inspiring children.
I am finishing up my second, (though not concurrent) term, and I'm planning to run for re-election at the upcoming 2010 Annual Meeting and Conference. I have served as Treasurer for the past two years and have spent much of the past term bringing The CCCP into the new millennium as far as technology is concerned. In addition to the new website look and feel, the web is also serving as the place we are managing our membership and event registrations as well, again bringing us into the 21st Century, and paving the way for easier use for both the membership and future boards and treasurers. It is my hope that you have found the website both easy to use and a resource that you will return to and use. It has been a shared vision that the website could be a "Virtual Log Circle" around which we could meet and discuss, share best practices and network. I hope you will consider re-electing me to serve another term on The CCCP Board.
Secretary- Rich Keegan- 10-12
Robb Armstrong- 10-11
Jodi Angus- 09 -11

Hi, I’m Jodi from Killingworth, CT! I am currently serving my first full term as one of your board members (I filled in in 08) and loving it! Being on the board (and being a CCCP member) allows me to work, learn and play with an amazing, dynamic and fun group of people!
I received my undergraduate degree from Plymouth State University (NH) in English with two teaching certifications, one for teaching grades 5–12 and another in English as a Second Language; I also have a minor in Adventure Education. Since I found the field of Adventure Education I have worked a number of exciting jobs including: assistant camp director for Deer Lake Camp in Killingworth, a naturalist for Outward Bound, a substitute teacher, ski, canoeing/kayaking, and rock climbing instructor, and have had the opportunity to work various teambuilding and on ropes course programs all over New England. I am currently brainstorming for my thesis on getting students out of the traditional classroom through out their education for my Masters of Education.
In my free time I enjoy: skiing, snorkeling, surfing, kayaking, doing trash clean ups and any kind of traveling or exploring (even in my own backyard). I also love spending time with my friends and family and especially my rabbit “Tinker Belle.”
For the CCCP I am the contact for membership, let’s work together to get the CCCP to its goal of 100 members for 2010! Please contact me with your ideas!
